​ ​Jessica LaPierre has worked for the city of Aurora (Aurora Water) since 2016, advancing in her career from an Environmental Inspector to a Senior Environmental Specialist and now currently serving as the Environmental Compliance Superintendent for the Environmental Services Division. Jessica has close to ten years of combined experience providing technical support and guidance regarding environmental compliance strategies and permitting requirements affiliated with the various regulations under the Clean Water Act. Jessica’s related experience, skills and abilities include, but are not limited to, performing regulatory advocacy work through stakeholder engagements, evaluating various environmental data, and creating site-specific permitting assessments while utilizing her technical knowledge. She is skilled in developing comments related to the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act rulemakings and other administrative proceedings and actions, delivering presentations to facilitate the understanding of environmental compliance and regulatory requirements, and completing regulatory reports to assure Aurora Water remains compliant.
