​ ​Emily is the Deputy Infrastructure Director for Water at the city of Thornton. She has over twenty-five years of experience in Colorado water issues. Emily currently serves on the Metro Roundtable and the Board of Directors for the Colorado Water Trust. She also participated in the Water Education Colorado’s Water Leaders Program in 2006. Emily earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Denver. When not at work, Emily enjoys being outside and growing spicy things; she also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and Girls, Inc.
